As a first time mumma, there a moments that define your journey in ways you never expect. For me, that moment came when I held my son for the first time, Lani. I'm sure like a lot of other women out there my son is my muse, my inspiration, and the reason behind everything I want to achieve in this beautiful life.
Lani's name, derived from the Hawaiian language, holds a depth of meaning that I find both grounding and motivating. Lani signifies both "Heaven" & "Chief". In polynesian culture, Lani represents a celestial realm - one of purity, ethereal beauty, and tranquility. It's a space of balance and spirituality. these same qualities are what I aspire for Love LANII to represent.
In a world where women juggle countless roles - mother, wife, businesswoman, caretaker, and the unsung hero behind all the life admin - It's easy to forget the most important role we play: the one where we honour and care for ourselves. And just as Lani's name represents heaven and leadership, we as women must remember we are the "chiefs" in our own lives, too.
Our worlds may feel overwhelming at times, with endless to-do lists and responsibilities. But they are also powerful, strong and full of love. We hold the power to navigate our lives with grace and strength, even when the world feels like it is spinning in a thousand different directions. And we deserve moments - however small - to reset, rejuvenate, and simply breathe.
That's what Love LANII is all about: creating space where women can find balance and peace amidst the chaos of life.
