Welcome to Love LANII.
A soft little corner of the internet, curated just for you.
A space that feels like a warm hug, filled with micro-doses of self-care, reminders you’re not alone, and little sparks to help you reconnect with yourself, no matter what season of life you’re in.
What is self-care, really?
Here’s the thing: self-care looks different for everyone.
For some, it’s slow mornings, skincare rituals, or a hot cup of tea. For others, it’s moving your body, giving back, spending time outside in nature or journaling through the tough stuff.
But in truth, self-care is something we’re doing every single day. Think about it - waking up, brushing your teeth, washing your face. That’s self-care. The daily rituals that keep us grounded.
And it’s not just about tending to the good parts of life - it’s about holding space for the messy, hard, and complicated parts too.
Self-Care Through the Seasons of Womanhood
We all go through so many stages that demand care:
🌸 Adolescence ; figuring out who we are, navigating periods, contraception, skin changes, and all the pressures that come with growing up.
🌙 Our 20s ; building careers, healing from party years, managing PCOS or endo, and asking big questions: Who am I? What fills me up?
💛 Motherhood ; a season of love and chaos, where you lose and find yourself all at once. The juggle is real. The guilt is real. But so is the joy, the empowerment, and the longing for little rituals that bring you back to you.
🌿 Later chapters ; watching your babies have babies, reaching for peri-menopause teas, magnesium sprays, and sleep remedies, and reminding yourself you’re still whole.
Through every stage, one truth remains: we always need self-care.
My Own Self-Care Shift
After I had Lani, I felt an overwhelming wave of emotions. I’ve always been an anxious person, but this was different... it showed up in ways I wasn’t prepared for. I didn’t know what I could do to make the thoughts and feelings better.
So I got help. I saw my doctor, and that was the first step. But I also knew I needed something more - something that felt a little closer to me before becoming a mum.
That search... the craving for little rituals, safe spaces, and connections that made me feel whole again - is what ultimately inspired me to create Love LANII.
Why Love LANII Exists
Because self-care isn’t just about the products you use or the rituals you keep, it’s about community.
It’s about knowing someone else has been there. That you’re not alone in the hard moments, the messy emotions, or the transitions that feel like they’ll break you.
For me, it’s my girlfriends who pull me through the trenches and help me come out the other side. And that’s exactly what I want Love LANII to feel like... for you.
A soft place. A reminder. A warm hug.
A space where women support women, in every season of life.
Let’s Talk
Love LANII isn’t just my space - it’s ours. Every season of life looks different, and so does self-care.
So tell me, what does self-care look like for you right now? I’d love to hear your version, because chances are, someone else here will see themselves in your story too. 💛
